  Weekly Activities Week 1:   Your Proposal.  What is your proposed topic? Is it a topic that has two sides to the issue? Position Paper on an Environmental Issue Purpose Students will research all sides of an environmental issue to gain a better understanding of the issue and to articulate a position based on the evidence they have collected.   Description Students prepare a position paper that includes their opinions, viewpoints, feelings, and the evidence that supports them.
